Stopped at Ausable Chasm and went thru it in the rain, walking three fourths of a mile along narrow rocky passes and boating half a mile. Saw Elephants Head, Jacobs Well,
wonderful caves and caverns. The scenery was enjoyed in spite of the rain.'
