131a.67.a.jpg     The Boston Street School was located on the south side of the Boston Post Road opposite the Madison Historical Society's Allis-Bushnell House. One of Madison's first libraries was located on the upper floor and when the school burned to the ground the library was also destroyed. The photograph has the pupil's names written on the back.
