The Menunkatuck Theater built in 1921. It was Madison's second movie theater, the first being the Airdome on the opposite side of the street. The interior had a flat floor and was used as a basketball court until a sloping floor was added. The owner of the theater was Charles Bonoff.   His son Leo served as Madison's Town Clerk for many years.
