This house, formerly the home of Charles Shepard and his family,  stood where the current CVS building stands. In 1962 this house and the one next door were torn down to make way for a First National Store. Before its demolition, the house was home to the Florilda Shop owned by Hilda Wagner of Hilda's Restaurant. The next image shows the demolition of the Shepard house..
