Hilda's Restaurant owned by Hilda Wagner until the late 1950s when it was moved to make way for a gas station on the site of the present Gulf Station. The house to the left rear of Hilda's is the Shepard house. Hilda's was popular stop for truck drivers before the opening of I-95.  Main Street was often lined with trucks during the wee hours of the morning.
