| 131a.53.a The green is surrounded by many fine old homes. This the Samuel Robinson House at 538 Boston Post Road. It was built in 1820 by Samuel Robinson, the first principal of Lee's Academy. It purposely made large to serve as his home and as a boarding house for students at the academy. Later the house was occupied by Capt. Tyler who was said to be looking for a house "big enough to turn around in." |
