129b.08c.c      This view shows the green after the 1938 hurricane which havoc all along the Connecticut Shoreline. The roof and chimney of the Dudley House at the corner of the Boston Post Road and Island Avenue.  At the time of the hurricane Helen Marsh wrote in her diary that "Madison would never be the same."
